Music
Music and the performing arts are highly valued at Harris Primary Academy East Dulwich. Each class has a weekly music lesson based on the National Curriculum taught by a specialist teacher. We have achieved the silver Arts Mark award and are currently working towards gold.
All children at the academy learn an instrument; recorder from Reception to Year 2 and either the violin or ukelele in KS2.
All children have opportunities to perform to each other and to parents at events and our regular assemblies, please see the calendar on our website for a diary of events.
All pupils participate each week in singing and we run an after-school choir.
